Tetsuya Sakashita spoke to us about the priorities for JAXA and their experiments on the Japanese Experimental Module, known as Kibo, Japan's first space facility on board the International Space Station.
npj Microgravity Community is a multidisciplinary forum in which to further research in the microgravity environment. This research is needed not only to develop advanced exploration technologies but also to take advantage of the unique aspects of microgravity environments in order to advance fundamental scientific understanding. It is a place for international collaboration, sharing knowledge and bringing about new research insights and opportunities. The community supports the aims of the npj Microgravity journal in providing a thorough understanding of the scientific impact and future of microgravity research.
